About
Rapture Enterprises LLC:
Rapture Enterprises LLC was originally founded in 1997 as Rapture
Entertainment. During the remainder of the late 1990's Rapture
Entertainment established itself as one of the premier Disc
Jockey and Event Promotion services in the Metropolitan Detroit
area, with a special focus on providing Entertainment to the
various college markets throughout Southeast Michigan.
In the midst of the dot-com craze, Rapture Entertainment found that
its computer based audio production studio (originally built
to enhance the disc jockey services) lent itself perfectly to
developing audio rich web sites for music artists and local
businesses alike. As the graphic and web design business grew,
Rapture Entertainment changed names to Rapture Enterprises to
encompass the company's business services element.
In
the year 2000, Rapture Enterprises continued to provide quality
entertainment to college students, and utilized its new media
design and audio studio to implement full marketing campaigns
for each of its events. These cutting-edge campaigns included
traditional print and magazine ads as well as web sites and
flash video invitations delivered by email. The success of Rapture's
events led businesses both local and national to seek consultancy
on many aspects of event planning, and on marketing to the groups
that Rapture was effectively targeting. Rapture began to forge
strong relationships with national clothing companies and music
companies who began to provide sponsorship for many events
in order to capture the attention of the attendees.
Rapture Enterprises became Rapture Enterprises LLC when founder
Martin Smith graduated from Law School at the University of
Michigan with a specialty area of Intellectual Property (Copyrights,
Trademarks), Business and Entertainment Law.
In
recent years, Rapture Enterprises has experienced tremendous
growth by helping Fortune 500 companies effectively reach Generation
Y. Clients such as General Motors and Sony Music have made the
industry take notice to Rapture Enterprises LLC. In 2004, we helped Toyota Scion leverage Hiphop and become the #1 Selling
Automotive Company among Generation Y, its target market.
